London Broncos are pleased to announce the loan signing of Salford Red Devils winger utility back Ed Chamberlain.
The 24 year old former Widnes Vikings player joins the Broncos on a four week loan deal to bolster their ranks as they continue their BetFred Championship campaign.
Chamberlain will bring some valuable Super League experience to the ranks, in the capital, having made 22 appearances for Widnes Vikings and a further 15 for the Red Devils.
Chamberlain told us, “I am really looking forward to getting some game time down here in London. The switch to the capital has been made a lot easier, for me, already knowing a couple of the lads that are playing here.”
Broncos Head Coach Danny Ward said, “With recent injuries to some of our outside backs, Ed will provide excellent cover and bring some much needed competition for places to the team. We’ve come up against him before at Salford and I’m sure he’ll do a great job for us.”
Club Chairman David Hughes told us, “Firstly, I would like to thank Salford Red Devils for their part in this loan deal being done. Secondly I think Ed will be a great addition to our squad and will bring Super League experience with him. I look forward to seeing him in a London shirt and hope he enjoys his time with us in the capital.”
Chamberlain will wear the number 29 shirt.
