London Broncos duo Rhys Curran and Sid Adebiyi remain side-lined for Saturday’s Betfred Championship visit of Oldham.

Second-row forward Curran has a fracture in his face while adaptable loose forward Sid Adebiyi has ruptured his achilles. Both players will not take part in Saturday’s game.

However, the Broncos’ three-week fixture break has allowed other players time to recover from their respective knocks in the treatment room.

James Meadows’ involvement in our match against Halifax earlier this month ended prematurely after he was concussed. The 21-year-old has recovered from the blow.

Jarrod Sammut is another to return to training after he picked up a nasty infection in his leg while Cory Aston and Chris Hankinson have overcome minor hamstring niggles.

Ed Chamberlain is another expected to be involved in Saturday’s tie despite dislocating his shoulder against Halifax three weeks ago.

Head Coach Danny Ward said: “Having three weeks off has been a bit of a blessing in disguise. We have been able to focus on players’ recovery at a time where we were not short of injury problems.

“You’ll never hear me use injuries as an excuse regardless of how depleted we are. All I ask of the team is given 100% as a collective.

“Of course, it’s great to have some players back and the atmosphere in the camp right now is strong for it.”
