The London Broncos are delighted to announce the return to the Club of Prop Forward Lewis Bienek on a 2 year deal following spells at Hull FC and the Castleford Tigers.

Bienek was another product of the London Broncos Academy system and the Sidcup born 23 year old will return to the Club where it began for him becoming a key part of Head Coach Jermaine Coleman’s pack as the Broncos aim to start 2022 with a bang.

Coleman was pleased to have secured the signature of Bienek and was impressed by the forwards desire to rejoin his old Club and be a part of an exciting period in the Broncos history.

He told us “Lewis is an exciting talent. Coming through the ranks you could tell he was going to be special but unfortunately it hasn’t quite worked out for Lewis at Hull and Cas, however he is still a very special player.”

“After speaking with Lewis it was clear he wanted to come back to his roots and be a part of what we are trying to create this year. He will have a huge impact for us this season and is desperate to see the Club be successful.”

Taking time out from his Holiday Lewis told Broncos Media that speaking to Jermaine and hearing his plans for the Club was behind the decision for him to choose the Broncos over other Clubs as the next chapter in his career.

He said “I’m looking forward to being back home in London, it’s where it started for me and means a lot to be back. I’ve gained a lot from my time at other teams that I want to take into 2022.”

“Having spoken with Jermaine about his goals for the team I feel I can bring something to the table and cannot wait for Pre-Season to start.”
