Forward Brad Foster is the latest player to join the London Broncos for 2022.

The former Doncaster player has agreed terms fresh off the back of the League One Promotion Final and will link up with his new London team mates this Pre-Season.

Foster, a personal trainer with his own successful gym near Wakefield, was looking forward to making the move having visited the Rosslyn Park training ground recently with his family as well as enjoying some time in Richmond and the local area.

He told us “Everyone we met on the day really made an effort with not just me but my family so that was a massive thing too as we just felt at ease making the choice to join the Broncos whilst balancing life at home.” “

I also liked how genuine and honest Jermaine was, we had a good chat about what his plans are with the team moving forward and I really felt I could fit into them and work well in the team.”

Making the step up from League One is a challenge that Brad is fully aware of however he knows he is fully equipped to make that jump.

He said “I’m buzzing to have been given the opportunity to join the Broncos, it’s always something I’ve wanted to do, making the step up and playing against higher standard of players in the Championship. I’m really looking forward to getting started and contributing to the team and Club in general.”

With Pre-Season fast approaching Foster was fully aware of the importance of being able to get a new squad gelling ahead of an earlier than usual Championship season start date.

“It’s important that we hit the ground running from session one and get things right on and off the field to make sure our standards are high. This will allow us to create a real close team spirit, one that encourages hard work and ensure we get the performances we need on the pitch to be successful this season especially with the move to Wimbledon.”

Broncos Coach Jermaine Coleman rates Foster highly and is expecting big things from the Normanton man.

He told Broncos Media “Brad has had a stand out year for Doncaster, a team that made it all the way to the play off final. He will bring some toughness to our pack along with a good woirk ethic.”

“As with all of the players we have signed or retained he has the specific mindset that we need to raise the standards and bring the hunger for success that is required.”
