London Broncos are delighted to announce the signing of Australian prop Rhys Kennedy.
The 29 year old joins the club after a successful year at Hull KR where he helped the club to a 4th placed finish in Super League and place in the Challenge Cup final.
Rhys has previously played in the NRL for both South Sydney Rabbitohs and Brisbane Broncos.
London Broncos Director of Rugby & Performance Mike Eccles is delighted with the addition;
“Rhys is a fantastic addition to our squad. His performances last year helped Hull KR to a top 4 finish and a challenge cup final.
“His age, profile and experiences in the NRL and super league are everything I’m looking for to compliment what I’m sure everyone agrees is a very exciting, young, dynamic London pack.”
Standing at a towering 6ft6 Kennedy will add undoubted size and experience to the side and he told the clubs official website he is looking forward to the season ahead;
“I can’t wait to get in and meet the boys and the staff. After speaking with Mike he’s very excited about this group of players so I can’t wait to start training and meet them all.
“Hopefully I can add some value to the team and learn something from them too.”
