London Broncos U19’s face one more task in their impressive 2019 season with a trip this Saturday, 7th September, to face Wigan Warriors.
The Broncos currently sit 5th in the Academy League table just two points behind 4th placed Warrington Wolves but, with a points difference of 66 to make up if they have any chance of making the end of season playoffs.
Last time out saw them play the curtain raiser at Trailfinders and the crowd were treated to a 44 – 18 points win over 2nd placed Leeds Rhinos which was their 12th win of the season and guaranteed at least a 5th place finish.
Head Coach Huw Goodwin was pleased with the win and is looking forward to facing a strong Wigan side. He told us, “Our aim this week is to be able to back up last Sunday’s performance with another good showing from everyone. We know it is going to be an extremely strong Wigan side and so we’re excited by the challenge ahead.”
Max Clarke and Ted Davidson both return to the squad in place of Alex Deery and Henry Kenny who miss out on the trip.
