Another Viking hits London

London Broncos is delighted to announce the signing of talented young full back Olly Ashall-Bott from Widnes Vikings on a 2 year deal.

The 21 year old Widnes born player impressed during the 2018 Super League campaign for the Vikings and especially against London in the 2018 Super 8’s competition.

He made his Super League debut during that 2018 season and scored his maiden try against Hull Kingston Rovers.

Olly has also represented England at Youth level.

We spoke to Ashall-Bott who said, “I am very excited to be signing for London and would like to thank Danny Ward for giving me the chance to continue playing full time rugby league. I cannot wait to get started and meet the boys and staff plus be a part of something that from the outside has looked very special.”

“I have to say a huge thankyou to everyone involved with Widnes Vikings for everything they have done for me as I would not be where I am today without them. I must also give a special thanks to the fans at Widnes as they are the heartbeat of what is a tremendous club to play for.”

Head Coach Danny Ward said, “Olly burst onto the scene in Super League with Widnes and is an exciting player to watch. I have worked with him previously with England Youth and have kept an eye on him ever since. He is a lively full back with a decent bit of gas, we are excited about what he’ll bring to the Broncos next season.”

Broncos Chairman, David Hughes, told us, “Olly has undoubted pace and is a confident young man with a lot of talent. He will, we hope, fit right into the London way of thinking and I know he will be proud to pull on a Broncos jersey each and every time he is asked to.”
