Both London Broncos Under 19’s and Under 16’s return to Trailfinders this week as have a day full of Rugby League in the Capital as all three Broncos sides face Huddersfield Giants.
The Under 19 Academy side have been on the road for the past two games, with defeats at the hands of St Helens and Leeds Rhinos, and they will be looking to get their first points of the season on the board when they face the Giants at 17.00 on Sunday 31st March.
Huw Goodwin said, “The boys are looking forward to being part of the whole club match day on Sunday and show what they can do in front of the Broncos supporters. They’ve trained well this week and will seek to get the season started for good this week.”
The Scholarship Under 16 side have not played since they defeated Newcastle Thunder here in Ealing with their game against St Helens being called off due to Storm Gareth. The boys will be chomping at the bit to get back out on the field and continue their good form again against Huddersfield as they kick off before the First Team at 12.15pm.
Colin Baker told us, “Having got one game under their belt the scholarship players are excited about this next playing opportunity. A home curtain raiser to a Super League game provides them a chance to showcase their skills and development as players on a great stage. We will be looking at their progress from game one!”
Both Huw Goodwin and Colin Baker will be looking for their sides to kick on this weekend and see if all three sides playing can come away with morale boosting wins.
