The round four Challenge Cup tie between London Broncos and Featherstone Rovers has been confirmed as Saturday 19 March, 8pm kick off, at Ealing Trailfinders Sports Club.
The tie was the second last to be drawn by Adrian Morley and Paul Wellens in last night’s round four draw, held in Swinton.
The match will be the first for 2016 between the two sides, but they will face each other again only eight days later, when Featherstone return to the capital for round nine of the regular Championship season.
The two sides last met in the 2015 Championship Shield final, where Featherstone scalped a 36-4 victory, and London will be looking to redeem themselves.
Head Coach, Andrew Henderson, said he and his team were happy with the draw.
“It’s fantastic to have drawn a home tie. We’ll play four home games in March now, which gives us a great opportunity to start building Ealing Trailfinders as our fortress.
“Featherstone are a good side, and I know the boys are excited about the game. Last year’s Championship Shield final was a hard loss for us, and we’re all looking forward to the challenge of redeeming ourselves.”
Ticketing details to follow.
