Broncos enter Coral Challenge Cup

London Broncos will, this weekend, enter the Coral Challenge Cup in the fourth round with the visit, to Trailfinders, of York City Knights.

This will be the first time the two sides have squared up to each other since the club became the Knights in 2002 following their previous incarnations as Ryedale-York & York Wasps.

The Broncos are currently on a three game winning streak in the BetFred Championship and will be looking to continue the run as they face their fellow Championship rivals.

Head Coach Danny Ward has, as expected, rung the changes and within the 21 man squad there is the possibility of six players making there first team debuts.

Josh Hodson is again in the squad being called up from the Reserves and is joined by fellow Reserves squad member Will Blakemore. Ollie Ashall-Bott is again in contention along with Oli Leyland, Rian Horsman and Gideon Boafo.

Keiran Dixon makes way alongside Will Lovell and Rob Butler is missing due to suspension.

This weekend will also see, if picked, Matty Fozard play his 150th career game.
