Broncos name team to face Army Rugby League

Rugby League returns to the capital this Saturday, when a select London Broncos squad takes on Army Rugby League at Trailfinders Sports Club.

Under 19s head coach, Jamie Langley, said the the entire club is looking forward to the start of the new season.

“It’s been a strong pre-season, and everyone has worked really hard to be ready for 2017. This is the first trial game in the pre-season calendar and it will be a great opportunity for the players to put their best foot forward – we’re refreshed, hungry and raring to go. The boys can’t wait to rip in.

“There are seven first team lads included in Saturday’s 19, and it’s always fantastic to be able to have our squads playing together as one under the London Broncos banner.

“It’s the first time we’ve come up against Army Rugby League, and it should be a tough and exciting 80 minutes! With free entry and the first team squad announcement prior to the game, hopefully we will have a good crowd for both teams to showcase their abilities”

The season launch kicks off at 12:30, with a Q&A with Andrew Henderson and the players, and 2017 shirt and squad numbers revealed.

Entry is free!
