London Broncos can confirm the release of Harvey Burnett from the remainder of his contract with immediate effect.
Burnett was contracted until the end of 2015 and made one substitute appearance this season in the loss to Leigh Centurions in the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup. He also appeared in pre-season in the games against Catalans and London Skolars.
“Broncos gave me everything I needed to make it into the first team, and nurtured me from a young age,” said Burnett. “I appreciate everything I’ve had from the club over the last three years but I feel now is the time to move on and pursue other opportunities.
“I’ll hopefully make a move to rugby union and try and stay in London and try and get some game time under my belt.”
Everyone at London Broncos wishes Harvey well in his future endeavors.
