Broncos renew Partnership with Footprints Foundation

London Broncos have extended their deal with charity partner, the Footprints Foundation.

The Broncos partnered with the Footprints Foundation at end of 2014 with the aim of collecting unwanted sports kit and boots for donation to the Foundation. The Footprints Foundation aims to tackle the problems and issues facing disadvantaged and vulnerable young and elderly people, and those people with significant health issues. The aim of the foundation is to support through volunteering and hands on help rather than solely providing financial support.

In 2015 the Broncos launched a #kit4africa campaign and collected just over 400kg in kit, boots & trainers. The kit was distributed across South Africa to projects & orphanages sponsored and supported by the Footprints Foundation.

Footprints Chairman Bob Holt said “we are delighted to continue our partnership with the Broncos. The Rugby League community totally embraced the idea of #kit4africa and we look forward to developing our partnership further”.

The club are asking people to take photo of themselves and the kit they are donating and to challenge another person via social media using #kit4Africa.

You can donate a single item of sports kit or a single pair of boots, or a whole set of kit and multiple pairs of boots.

Once you have pledged to donate please email your pledge to [email protected] who will discuss collection or drop-off details.
