Crunch game at Huddersfield for U19’s

London Broncos U19’s face a tough test this weekend as they travel to face, the side just below them in the Academy table, in Huddersfield Giants.

The boys scored a good win against City of Hull Academy at Trailfinders last week moving them up to 5th in the table just behind Warrington Wolves on points difference.

The squad have now won 10 games in this 2019 season beating the most wins for a London Academy side since the format changed five years ago.

The Broncos were soundly beaten the last time the two sides met at Trailfinders with the Giants running out 18 – 36 winners. The Broncos boys have, however, come a long way since that defeat and Head Coach Huw Goodwin will be looking to turn the score around.

Goodwin told us, “It’s an important game for us to measure where we’re at as a squad. We feel we have improved since we played them earlier in the season, but need to show that on the field this Saturday. We’re looking forward to the challenge.”
