Deserved recognition for Community Broncos

London Broncos nominated for Sports Club of the Year

The Club has been nominated for the award in the Ealing Council managed, Ealing Sports Awards, based on the incredible work of the Community Broncos team.

The inaugural Ealing Sports Awards, sponsored by Everyone Active, were voted for by the public over the last four months, and the club is pleased to announce that we have been shortlisted for this prestigious award.

John Keyes, Community manager said: “Community Broncos are honoured to have been shortlisted in these awards. I must pay tribute to the delivery team, who have really bought in to our philosophy and delivery models.

“Our target is to deliver, and I am proud of our achievements over the past year.”

The award will be presented to the winner of this category at the ceremony, which takes place on July 13th 2017 at William Perkin C of E School.

The Community Broncos programmes continue to flourish throughout the London Borough of Ealing with such initiatives as weekly mentoring, Try Reading, the award winning Be at School on Time, and of course Rugby League sessions.

The Change 4 Life programme, in conjunction, with the local SSP has proved to be a huge success, and the Mosaic Project, in unison with the Princes Trust, being carried out in local schools, has been especially well received.
