Goodwin names team for U16s Salford clash

Huw Goodwin has named his side for the scholarship’s second outing of the season, facing Salford Red Devils on Saturday.

After an incredible 74-0 thrashing of Cumbria last weekend, Goodwin says his team are looking forward to stepping it up yet another notch at the AJ Bell Stadium.

“It was a solid performance last week in our first hit out against Cumbria,” he commented.

“We will be looking to build on that this week at Salford, which we know will be a step up in challenge for the players.

“We need to re-produce the areas we did well in, and improve in some of the areas we were rusty. The boys are excited for their first away trip of the season.”
