Goodwin names U16 side to face Hull

Under 16s Head Coach, Huw Goodwin, has named his side to face Hull at Bishop Burton, 2pm Easter Saturday.

After opening their season with a 36-18 victory over North East, the side suffered a 32-4 loss to Leeds, but it was a valuable lesson for the team to learn, says Head of Youth, Rob Powell.

“The Leeds game was a really important learning curve for the team. The players now¬†understand the intensity and pace required to compete both sides of the ball.

“We have given some more squad members their first opportunity, and look forward to another game to test our development.”
