London Broncos Rugby League head coach Joey Grima has completed his recruitment for the forthcoming Kingstone Press Championship season following the signing of Sean Morris and Erjon Dollapi earlier this week.
Morris joins the club on a one-year deal from Oxford RL while Erjon Dollapi signed a new one-year contract to remain at the club in 2015.
Grima has assembled a squad of 26 players which includes nine players to have come through the Broncos youth set-up in recent seasons. He has also recruited players with vast experience both from the NRL and Super League with the likes of Wes Naiqama, Richard Mathers and Rhys Lovegrove all moving to the club in the off season.
Grima said: “Having 26-players gives us that luxury of putting specialist players in specialist positions as well as having the versatility of having utility players in the squad.
“We’ve got a great balance of maturity and experience along with excitement and youth. We’ve got a good cross section of people from the UK and overseas but more so a great cross section of people that have been developed from within, we’ve got nine players that have come through the Broncos rugby league training program.
“It’s very refreshing and exciting that we’re creating opportunities and a genuine pathway for our players.”
