Grima: Exciting time for Broncos future

Ahead of London Broncos first game of the new Kingstone Press Championship season, head coach Joey Grima says the whole club are excited by the new start to the Broncos future.

“It’s been a gruelling three months (of pre-season) no different to any other Championship side in the competition,” said Grima.

“It’s pretty exciting for the whole staff and the club given the resources that have been made available to us and certainly the new start to the Broncos future.

“Given the competition, given the serious of the two parts of the competition where you you get through the first rounds and you have the Super Eight’s, we’re very excited as to where we are heading and where we are at the starting blocks.”

Grima confirmed that only William Barthau is unavailable for selection as he recovers from the knee injury sustained while playing for France in the 2014 European Cup last October.

“Given the form, fitness levels and the integrity that goes along with selecting the side it gives us the best opportunity to pick the best players available.
