Henderson: Home form imperative

London Broncos Rugby League head coach Andrew Henderson says that home form is imperative for a successful season.

“It’s massively important,” said Henderson when asked about his side’s home form. “We spoke about that as a group early on in the season, that our home form needs to be good. It’s imperative for our season that we have strong results at home and so far so good it’s a 100 per cent record.”

Broncos made it four consecutive home wins after defeating Batley Bulldogs 25-18 at The Hive on Monday afternoon. The win moves the Broncos up to fourth in the Kingstone Press Championship table.

“We showed enough character and enough endeavour within the team, which is very together at the moment, to get the result.”

Henderson confirmed that the club are close to announcing the signing of a former Super League player and have an offer out on another potential new signing.
