London Broncos head coach Andrew Henderson was left disappointed after his side’s 28-2 loss to Bradford Bulls on Sunday afternoon.
The Broncos failed to score a try in the second versus fourth Kingstone Press Championship clash and the loss drops the London side down to sixth in the table.
“The field position we did have in good ball we didn’t execute well enough,” said Henderson. “I didn’t feel we were clinical with the ball and our quality in the sets wasn’t good enough either. I just felt at times we weren’t kicking with any purpose at the end of sets it was kind of what we made up on the spot.”
The Broncos did cross the try line on numerous occasions and were held up three times during the game and bombed tries on a couple of occasions.
“I’m just disappointed that we didn’t execute the opportunities that we did have,” continued Henderson. “The few opportunities we did have we just didn’t take.
“We built some momentum in recent weeks, we’ve grinded down some opposition and I think we had a great opportunity to come here and get two points. Unfortunately in the second half we didn’t have that energy, we didn’t have that enthusiasm and as I’ve said we weren’t clinical with the ball in hand.”
