Henderson names 19 for Rhinos clash

Andrew Henderson has named his side to take on 2015 Super League champions, Leeds Rhinos, this Saturday at Trailfinders.

The last time the two teams met was almost two years ago to the day – August 17, 2014 at the Hive. In the final stages of the game, the Broncos produced a monumental comeback to defeat the Rhinos 40-36.

Though aware of the work ahead of them, Henderson says his side are all looking forward to the game.

“It’s fantastic to be hosting Super League games in London again. It should be a very exciting game – Leeds completed the treble last year, and we’re fully aware of the challenge ahead of us.

“Leeds boast a number of talented individuals and we will have our work cut out managing them this weekend, however, this team has demonstrated multiple times that we’re more than capable of competing with the best teams in this competition.

“If we can bring the defensive steel, the attitude and the energy we all know we’re capable of, and play with the confidence we have at present then we are most definitely a chance on Saturday.

“Hosting a game of this calibre at Trailfinders and in London is something the whole club is incredibly excited about, and I have every faith the boys will do you proud on Saturday.”
