Henderson names 19-man squad for Whitehaven clash

London Broncos head coach Andrew Henderson has named his 19-man squad to face Whitehaven this Sunday at The Hive (kick-off 3:00pm).

Elliot Minchella misses out following concussion last week against Halifax, while Tom Gilmore returns to parent club Widnes Vikings. Andrew Henderson removes himself from the side with the recent arrival of hooker James Cunningham from Hull FC. Sean Morris and Joel Wicks also miss out from last week’s 19-man squad.

There is a recall to the squad for Matt Davis who this week signed a first team contract for 2016, while half-back Joe Keyes is named in the squad. Jason Walton (pictured) is named having signed with immediate effect until the end of 2016 and Glenn Riley retains his place in the squad having made his come back last weekend against Halifax.

“We’ve got to put some wrongs right this week,” said Henderson. “We’re back at home and it’s a great opportunity for the players to show they can respond in the right way. We’re hoping for a good performance and the result will take care of itself. I’m pretty confident we’ll see a reaction.”
