Andrew Henderson has named his 19 man side for Featherstone’s return to the capital this Easter Monday.
The side were narrowly beaten by Bradford on Thursday, and after losing their Challenge Cup match to the Rovers nine days prior, will be looking for redemption.
“Bradford was a tough game – we went there with the belief we could win. I thought we competed hard, and showed some character and composure to come back from 14-0 down to get in front. A lack of urgency at times, discipline and the fact we weren’t clinical enough in good field position hurt us overall,” said Henderson.
“It’s been a very short turnaround for Featherstone. Our recovery interventions have been taking place and we will have a light team run to finalise our preparations. Both physically and mentally the boys will be as best prepared as can be over this period.
“Like I said, the sign of a good team is its bounce back ability. We have a strong group of players who enjoy playing together and working hard for each other. It’s exciting being back at home on Monday, and we look forward to the challenge Featherstone will present. The players will be ready and I’m hopeful that we’ll come away with the result.”
