Head coach, Andrew Henderson, has named his side to travel to Cumbria this weekend, facing Whitehaven at Recreation Ground.
The side recorded their first ever away win in Cumbria in round four earlier this season, and will be looking for a repeat performance.
Pleased with his team’s start to the season so far, Henderson believes the best is yet to come.
“I still think we’ve got a lot more to show as a team which excites me. As coaches we are constantly challenging the players to be better and hopefully this weekend we will see improvements as a team in certain parts of our game.
“We’re now a third of the way into the season and all the teams are starting to find their feet now and are getting better each week. We’re certainly going to face a very good Whitehaven side this weekend who have improved a lot since the start of the season, and James Coyle has his team playing some good rugby.
“We managed to get the monkey off the back with our first away win in Cumbria a few weeks back and we look forward to making the trip up again. Our defensive attitude and resilience, and willingness to work hard and turn up for each other has stood out for me so far this season within the team, and it will be tested again on Saturday. If we remain strong defensively and are more clinical and efficient with the ball then hopefully we will earn the two points. I’m really looking forward to seeing how both teams back up after a tough Easter period.”
