London Broncos head coach Andrew Henderson paid tribute to his backroom staff after the side won three games in seven days.
The Broncos beat league leaders Leigh 29-20 at The Hive before away games against Batley on Wednesday evening which they won 28-22, and Doncaster on Sunday, winners by 30-6, to put them in sixth place in the table.
Henderson, who played in the side for the fifth time since coming out of retirement said:
“I want to thank the medical staff; Kelly Burke our head physio, Rees Thomas and Tom Rothberg who have done a fantastic job in looking after the players from a medical point of view to make sure we had those bodies on the field. Also Mike Eccles and Dan Mays, the strength and conditioning guys, for their recovery intervention which really helped the players recover and gave them the best possible chance to perform on game day.
“I want to give a big rap to our backroom staff, and Danny Ward too who has been fantastic, it’s been a tough week especially with me playing and he’s been a massive support has Danny in preparing the team and things like that so the backroom staff need to take a massive rap as does Nobby (Brian Noble) who has helped manage those games too. It’s been a really good team effort from everyone, the playing squad but also the people behind the scenes as well.
