Henderson’s 19 for Dewsbury

Andrew Henderson’s named a changed 19 man squad to face Dewsbury Rams at the Tetley’s Stadium this Sunday.

After a lucky victory last weekend, Henderson says his team are ready to better perform as individuals this weekend.

“The boys have been focused this week on improving their performance, and are now looking forward to the challenge at Dewsbury.

“It has not been an ideal start to 2017 for Dewsbury, but we certainly know that they’re a team not to be written off.

“Glenn Morrison’s men will be desperate for a win and to put in a cohesive team performance, which makes them a tough opponent to face.

“We have prepared this week for what we expect and what’s needed from us, and we will be better prepared to adapt our game if necessary for the conditions.

“The 17 that will take the field are all determined to do their individual job better this week – for the greater good of the team, and to help produce a result, and I fully trust that the players selected will do that.

“The great thing about this team is it’s character, resilience and belief. We understand each game is different and never ideal, but the true strength of this team is they know how to win well and win ugly if need be.”
