Henderson’s 19 for final home game of 2016

Andrew Henderson’s side play their final home game of 2016 this Sunday, against fellow Championship side Featherstone Rovers.

It is a game they must win in order to keep hopes of making the Million Pound Game alive, which is not altogether out the question, says Henderson.

“Sunday’s game is our final home game of the 2016 season, and hopefully we will finish on a high. It is an important game as we still have an outside chance of sneaking fifth spot and making the million pound. We would need Batley to do us a favour, but more importantly we need to win on Sunday.

“Jon Sharp’s men are definitely not a team to be underestimated – they are a good team and have challenged us a lot this season so I know they will turn up to play.

“They finished in the top four of the Championship this year with a strong end of season run, and certainly earned this position on their own merits.

“Both teams would like to end their 2016 seasons on a high, it should be a great game.”
