Henderson’s 19 hoping to secure top four spot

Andrew Henderson’s side face Sheffield Eagles this weekend, hoping to atone for last weekend’s disappointing result against league winners, Hull KR, and to cement a top four spot ahead of the Super 8s.

“Sheffield have had an indifferent season, but considering they only managed to put a team together a few weeks before the season, it is a credit to Mark Aston and his players that they have competed well at times this year,” said the London boss.

“They suffered some disappointing results recently, but produced a strong performance and victory over Swinton last weekend, so will come to us on Sunday with some confidence.

“The team knows it’s we are win from securing a top four spot, and three wins from securing top two. The playing group is determined to achieve its goals for this season, so I’m looking forward to the team producing a strong and committed performance.

“It should be an exciting game, and certainly a big few weeks ahead.”
