Henderson’s side for huge Fev clash

After a disappointing last outing, Andrew Henderson’s side face Featherstone Rovers on Sunday, in arguably one of the most crucial matches so far this season.

The teams last met in the final Super 8s game of 2016, and Henderson’s men ran out 46-6 victors. Now, he says there no hiding behind the enormity of the game.

“This is a huge game for us as we aim to find some form. Featherstone have assembled a decent squad and are strong contenders for a top four place again this season.

“We accept we have yet to hit our straps and get fully up and running due to lack of consistency within our own performances and a growing injury list.

“However, this can’t be seen as an excuse as we have the quality within this squad to be meeting our standards here at London.

“I truly believe we have such a talented group of players here who are only one performance away from turning things around. It’ll be a big challenge on Sunday but one I’m confident the players will rise to.”
