Henderson’s side for huge top two battle

Andrew Henderson’s men face Featherstone Rovers for a third time this Sunday, in a huge battle to maintain the top two spot in the Kingstone Press Championship.

Currently on a nine game winning streak, victory would see the Broncos edge a three point lead over the West Yorkshire side in the league table, something Henderson is hopeful his side can accomplish as the Super 8s draw ever closer.

“Following suit from our last few games, Sunday is another huge match for the London Broncos,” said the London boss.

“Featherstone sit a solitary point behind us in the league table, so the winner of this game determines second place in the Championship. We’re at the business end of the season, and we know that finishing in second spot means an additional home game in the all-important Super 8s.

“Jon Sharp and his squad have had a tough ten days with three games due to a fantastic Challenge Cup run, but I’m certain they will prove resilient and challenge us on Sunday.

“Both teams having everything to play for this Sunday, and it’ll be a cracking game of rugby league.”
