Immortals Dinner to celebrate 40 years.

London Broncos “Immortals Dinner”
Institute of Directors Saturday 16th May
2020 sees the fortieth anniversary of Fulham’s entry in to Rugby League with their astonishing victory over Wigan at Craven Cottage. The LBSA and the London Broncos are partnering to deliver a range of events to celebrate this anniver-sary throughout 2020.
The celebration’s anchor event will be the “Immortals Dinner” to be held at the Institute of Directors in London’s Pall Mall on Saturday May 16th.The Dinner will see the inauguration of the “Immortals”; a select few players who have had a lasting impact on the Club and the game of Rugby League in London. The Hall of Fame will gain new members too, and there will be presentations to current Hall of Fame members and past players; particularly those Fulham Origin players from 1980.
An All Time Team will also be announced at the Dinner, along with “Era” Teams covering Fulham, the Crusaders, the Broncos, Quins RL, and the current Broncos incarnation.
Proceedings will be hosted by BBC Sports presenter, Great Britain tourist and London Player 301 Tulsen Tollett, and the naming of the Immortals and All Time Teams will be led by Rugby League historian Professor Tony Collins.
Broncos CEO Jason Loubser said “We obviously have the big task of reclaiming our place in Super League this season, but we are really looking forward to working with the LBSA in celebrating our Club’s great players over the last forty years by delivering a night to re-member at the Immortals Dinner”
LBSA Secretary Steve Newcombe said “Since our foundation in 2014 the LBSA has placed an emphasis on celebrating the Club’s history through our Hall of Fame and Heritage Day events, as well as looking to the future by sponsoring the Broncos Academy since 2016. This really will be a once in a generation event for us here in London, so keep Saturday 16th May clear and we’ll see you all there!”
Tickets are now on sale at £70 through the LBSA at lbsa.org.uk and will be available at the Broncos’ first home game against Whitehaven on 9th February.
