London Broncos is delighted to announce the re-signing of London product Olsi Krasniqi on a new 2 year deal from the 2020 season.
Krasniqi, who came through the London Broncos Academy system, made 92 appearances for London Broncos between 2010 and 2014 before firstly moving to Salford Red Devils, onto Toronto Wolfpack and most recently on loan at Bradford Bulls.
Since his return to the Capital Krasniqi has started in five games while winning four in the fight to keep London at the top table of Rugby League.
Krasniqi told us, “I am really pleased to have signed a new deal here at London Broncos. It was an easy decision to make as I have really enjoyed being back in the capital. The club has given me so much from being a Scholarship player to making my professional debut and then giving me the chance to come back home this year. The most important thing now is to do my best and to do the jersey the justice it deserves.”
Head Coach, Danny Ward said, “Olsi has performed really well since being back at the Broncos and we are very happy to extend his contract.
To come into the team halfway through the season can be tough but he has fitted in well within the group. He brings a lot of experience and is developing in a leadership role, passing his knowledge down to the younger guys.”
Chairman David Hughes said, ” We are delighted that Olsi has decided to stay with us for another two years. He knows the club inside out and is another London Academy product who has returned to the Capital and put in some great performances. He is the kind of player that can show the younger boys here that there is a pathway within our system and you can make it to the top level.”
