London Broncos slipped to a narrow 22-16 loss to Sheffield Eagles in the final game of the regular season on Sunday afternoon at The Hive.
London lost Joe Keyes and Rhys Lovegrove to injuries during the game.
The Broncos led 6-0 at half time after a Wes Naiqama try and conversion after just four minutes. The Eagles hit back with two tries in the second half on 43 and 51 minutes, both converted. Former Sheffield player Matt Garside scored after 60 minutes and Wes Naiqama kicked a penalty as London led 14-12 into the closing stages.
Sheffield scored a further two tries with time running out in the game to secure the win.
