London Broncos crashed to a defeat at the hands of Hunslet Hawks on Sunday afternoon.
The Broncos handed debuts to Ben Gray, Ben Pointer and Sadiq Adebiyi on the day with the latter scoring a try. It was the Broncos who took the lead after 10 minutes through Matt Garside before Hunslet hit back 12 minutes later. The game was tightly posed at half time with Broncos taking a 14-12 lead after tries from James Cunningham and Sadiq Adebiyi, Will Barthau converting one score after two failed attempts from Wes Naiqama.
After the break Hunslet soon extended the lead (44 mins) and kept London out until Ben Hellewell scored the first of tries after 67 mins, his second coming after 74 mins, converted by Barthau. The Broncos Jason Walton was shown the yellow after 58 minutes with Hunslet fully in control of the game. Simon Brown kicked six conversions along with two penalty goals and a drop goal to add further misery to the home side.
