London Broncos Rugby League will help raise awareness of the Footprints Foundation’s #Kit4Africa appeal during the game against Leigh Centurions on Sunday 7th June.
The Footprints Foundation is the adopted charity of London Broncos throughout the 2015 season and the Broncos players have already been busy donating unwanted kit and boots to the appeal, which will see the kit shipped out to South Africa later this year.
On Sunday 7th June supporters are encouraged to bring any unwanted rugby kit or boots and donate them to the Footprints Foundation personnel on hand to collect the items. Supporters can donate a single rugby top or pair of boots or an entire set of rugby kit.
There will also be a bucket collection on the day to raise further funds for the #Kit4Africa appeal.
Chairman of the Footprints Foundation, Bob Holt said: “The Footprints Foundation supports a number of UK and South African based projects. Part of our South African partnership is to provide rugby coaching into some of the remote and developing communities. The kit4africa partnership with London Broncos is invaluable to us and I’d like to thank them for the opportunity to help improve lives.”
