London Broncos are delighted to announce that they have signed the St Helens Centre, Ryan Morgan, on loan for the 2019 Super League Season.
The Australian born centre/winger will join the Broncos as they look to continue building their squad ahead of what will undoubtedly be a big season for the Capital side.
Morgan brings with him a wealth of experience having played over 90 times in the NRL for both Paramatta Eels and Melbourne Storm.
He signed for St Helens in August 2016 and has since made 49 appearances for the League Leaders Shield winners whilst scoring 24 tries.
London Broncos Head Coach, Danny Ward said, “Ryan is a player that will bring NRL and Super League experience to the squad for 2019. Playing with the likes of Melbourne. Paramatta and St Helens just shows what a player he is. I am excited to get started with Ryan in training now and looking forward to seeing him in a London Shirt.”
Morgan told us, ” Its exciting. It’s an amazing city and watching the team do so well in the Million Pound game was fantastic. I can’t wait now to get involved. The move has happened really quickly but I have spoken to Louis Macarthy-Scarsbrook about the place and he has only good things to say.”
Chairman David Hughes told us, ” I am extremely excited to see Ryan in the Broncos shirt next season. We have him on loan for the season and I am sure his talent and experience will be influential throughout the group of players that we have here currently.”
