Pelissier signs for London Broncos

London Broncos are pleased to announce the signing of the French Hooker Eloi Pelissier on a short-term contract.

With over 170 Super League appearances to his name, for Catalans Dragons and Leigh Centurions, Pelissier will bring a vast amount of experience to Danny Ward’s squad as they look to force their way back into the top four of the Championship and furthermore the Super 8 Qualifiers.

Pelissier has been playing his rugby in the French Championnat for the past few months at Lezignan Sangliers and is happy to be given an opportunity to help the Broncos in their quest for the top flight.

Pelissier told us, ” I am really happy to get a new opportunity to play at London Broncos. My aim is to make the top four with this club and know I will enjoy it here. I already know a few of the players which always helps too. I will try and bring the experience of my seven years in Super League to the club and I hope I can bring a small extra percentage to the side.”

He went on to say, ” I watched the team play in Toulouse and liked what I saw. I thought they were unlucky not to get the win.”

Head Coach Danny Ward told us, “We are delighted to have Eloi joining us at the Broncos heading into the final third of the season. He has a lot of Super League experience in England and we hope he will bring a lot of qualities to the group.”

Broncos Chairman, David Hughes said, ” It’s a great opportunity for us to bring a player of such quality and with so much Super League experience to the capital. We have been watching him for a while and we are very happy to finally have the chance to see him play in London Broncos colours.”
