London Broncos academy player Josh Raqio’s ban has been downgraded by the RFL from eight games to three.
Following a Match Review Panel meeting held on 5th May 2016, Raqio was charged with misconduct for a breach of Law 15.1(f) during the match between London Broncos and Catalan Dragons. A further disciplinary committee hearing was held on May 10, where Raqio’s ban was downgraded from grade F to E, and eight games to three.
The Panel reviewed an incident which occurred in approximately the 16th minute of the aforementioned game.
Raqio has been suspended internally by the club, who do not condone the behaviour of the player. aqio has apologised for his actions and will ensure no further incidents occur.
