Scholarship looking for win away from home

London Broncos U16’s Scholarship side will be looking to continue where they left off against Newcastle Thunder, last week, as they travel to face St Helens this Saturday.

The boys got their season off with a bang with a very good win over the North-East side at Trailfinders sports Club by 28 points to 10.

St Helens, however, will provide a sterner test for the Broncos side as they look to win back to back games and a perfect start to their 2019 campaign.

Head of Youth Development, Rob Powell told us, “Last week was a promising start against Newcastle Thunder but there is still a lot to work on. The first long away trip is always a challenge for these young lads but provides a great experience in their development. We look forward to seeing how they respond to the challenge and back up the performance from last week.”
