After the success of the first Player pathway session on May 18th, with over 60 attendees from schools and rugby league community clubs across London and the South East, London Broncos will be hosting their second England Talent Pathway player development day on June 15th at Trailfinders Sports Club between 1000-1200.
This provides any boys in Year 7 or 8 the opportunity for a coaching session with London Broncos staff. The first session included lots of core skill games and the second session will have a similar format with different themes.
The England Talent pathway (ETP) represents one of the first rungs on the pathway towards being a full time professional Super League player (see below)
Rob Powell, London Broncos Head of Youth Development commented, “The first ETP session was a really successful experience for all involved. Our community clubs were really well represented with lots of their players attending but it was also encouraging to see so many players from schools and those new to the sport. We were impressed by the quality of the talent on display and we are really looking forward to welcoming players and parents for another opportunity to showcase the sport and the club as we look to find Super League players of the future”
