Slyney: We need to take advantage of home form

Co-captain Nick Slyney says the home form is vital for his side as they look to make it three-from-three at home this Saturday with the visit of Halifax to The Hive.

Currently sidelined through injury, Slyney told the London Broncos matchday programme:

“We’re back here at home where we’ve won both of our previous games. I’m sure it’s a goal of every club to win their home games, but more so for us being the only southern team with every other team having to travel down to us. If we can take advantage of that and win every home game that will go a long way to helping us.”

Slyney also provides an update on his injury and how he helps the players at training:

“It’s been three weeks since I had surgery and I see the surgeon again next week. I’m still a couple of months until I’m back. It’s tough being on the side-lines, I get very frustrated that I can’t be out there on the field helping the boys. I try and show the boys some leadership and give them self-confidence at training.”
