Tag Rugby comes to Pitshanger Lane

The Brentham Club played host to the latest Tag Rugby festival in the Borough of Ealing hosted by the award winning Featherstone School Sports Partnership in association with London Broncos Rugby League.

Head of Community sport at Featherstone Sports Centre, Juma Abdullahi told us, “Featherstone School Sports Partnership’s Year 5/6 Tag Rugby School Games competition brought together over 200 children of all abilities from 20 primary schools. This fun packed day of Rugby League gave children the opportunity to get active through the sport. A special thank you to the London Broncos for their support during the day, providing excellent referees and giving the children a photo opportunity with the Rugby League Million Pound Game Trophy and club mascot. Without the help of the London Bronco’s we wouldn’t have been able to deliver such a memorable and successful competition. Thank you Bronco’s.”

The Community Project at London Broncos were delighted to be a part of such a fantastic festival and Community manager John Keyes said, ” Following the club’s promotion to Super League we are delighted to be able to support the development of Rugby League in the Borough of Ealing. It was great to see so many young people participating. We will look to support as many local events as we can throughout the next twelve months.”
