U16s to face Leeds Rhinos

Under 16s head coach, Huw Goodwin, has named his side to make the journey to the north, playing Leeds Rhinos at Stanningley ARLFC on Saturday.

Goodwin’s side secured a massive 36-18 victory over North East in their season opener, and will be looking to continue with their strong form.

Sentiments echoed by Head of Youth, Rob Powell: “We are looking to build momentum after a good first performance against the North East.

“Playing Leeds will provide an increased challenge for the boys and it will test our skill, intensity and game sense.

“These are the sorts of games that really help our players develop and we look forward to seeing how we respond to the opportunity.”
