Wallace wants to play his part at Summer Bash

London Broncos forward Jonathan Wallace would love to play his part in representing the Kingstone Press Championship this weekend at Summer Bash.

“It’s a massive event and a good showcase for the sport,” said Wallace, whose side face Sheffield Eagles on Saturday (kick-off 4:45pm) at Summer Bash. “It’s good to see the Championship getting more recognition so I’d love to have a part in that.”

“There’s going to be a lot of eyes on it with every team in the Championship being there, it’s going to be a big spectacle.

“We owe Sheffield one as they gave us a bit of hiding earlier in the season which was a bit of a wake up call for us. We’re looking forward to giving them a big game in front of a big audience and hopefully coming away with the win.”

Wallace says the season is still very much alive for the London side and that the team are looking to get firmly on the right track.

“Training has been more intense over the past few weeks. Everyone is keen to get back on track and put in some good performances as the season is still very much alive, we still have high hopes so we just want to realise these.”

London Broncos face Sheffield Eagles at Summer Bash on Saturday 23rd May, 4:45pm at Bloomfield Road, Blackpool.
