Based in Hitchin in Hertfordshire, founded by Mick Johal and Robin French, we learned of a rugby league coach that lived in Hitchin by the name of Colin Baker, who is involved with The London Broncos set up as a assistant coach to the under 19s. Colin is still involved with the Crusaders and is providing support to our coaches.

Formed in 2012 we play in the East Of England League. In the first year we won the East Grand Final, In 2013 we went the season unbeaten and won the East Grand Final and East Cup. In 2014 We won the East Cup and were semi finalists in the Grand Final. We have also won the awards at the Hertfordshire sports awards.

We have also produced two young players that currenly ply their trade with the Broncos Jordan Williams in the Under 19s and Jaden Elley-Murphy in the Scholarship.

This year we entered the BARLA National cup and made the trip up to Yorkshire in January to face Upton ARLFC in January. We lost the game to the evental semi finalists but it was a great learning experience for the boys.

In the coming years we hope to increase participation in rugby league in Hertfordshire and are currently looking to secure our own facilities.
