HEALTH & WELLBEING
The London Rugby League Foundation supports a number of other projects aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of the wider community.
The London Broncos and the London Borough of Merton delivered the H20 Roadshow as part of Merton’s Borough of Sport Project. The Broncos community team along with mascot Buck and some of the first team players visited schools in the Merton area promoting the importance of staying hydrated.
The players along with the mascot greeted the pupils on their way into school and present each child with a free bottle of water. This was followed with a short assembly on the importance of staying hydrated and how important this is to your well-being.
John Keyes, London Broncos Community Manager said “We are working with London Borough of Merton to improve the health & well being across the borough. This project will engage around 4,000 young people and is the first of many borough wide projects that we will be delivering.”
