London Broncos host the London Primary League Festival
London Broncos were delighted to play host to the London Primary League Festival at The Cherry Red Records Stadium on Sunday, May 26th.
The festival was played at London Broncos home ground between Brixton Bulls, Elmbridge Eagles & Brentwood Eels as part of the warm-up event for the main event the Super League game between London Broncos and Hull Kingston Rovers.
Some of the junior players involved then had the opportunity to make up the guard of honour for the game.
Phillipa Robson from The London Rugby League Primary & Junior League said;
“It's an amazing experience for our primary players in London and the South East to play in the stadium where they see their RL heroes play, knowing that they too came through the ranks of the clubs in the region.
“Opportunities like these spread the word about how good our game is and give them a taste of what it's like and something to aim for. The kids all went home with massive smiles on their faces, which is what it's all about . A massive thank you to the London Broncos for making it happen.”
Jason Loubser, London Broncos CEO said;
“We were really pleased to be able to provide the opportunity for this tournament to take place at the stadium this year. The youngsters from our local clubs hopefully enjoyed the experience and it was brilliant to see them all stay for the game where they made huge amounts of noise cheering on The Broncos!”
