Speaking ahead of this Sunday’s fixture, we caught up with Broncos assistant coach Jordie Hedges, who says “It’s another massive game for us. It’s a massive occasion for the club back at the Stoop trying to connect with an old fanbase as well as with the new fanbase.
“This is a game that we need to go out and win and put a performance in but we understand the magnitude of this for the club as well.
“It’ll be a similar game (from last time out). Conditions aren’t looking great but hopefully we get some dry footy so we can play with the ball a bit”.
Broncos’ media also caught up with Broncos half-back Oli Leyland who says “We’re feeling good, we’ve had a good training week, so we’ve dusted down and ready to go again after some good training.
“Where we’re at and where the team are at is we just need to work on us and focus on approaching every game the same way. Obviously, we’ll have a look at what they’re going to throw at us but for us it’s the same process every week of trying to better ourselves.
“The first game that I went to watch with the Broncos was at the Stoop after a mini’s tournament so you could say that is the start of our journey so to then go and play where I watched my first game will be massive.”
