MATCH PREVIEW: Sheffield Eagles vs London Broncos
London Broncos move into Round 18 of the Championship season on Sunday with a trip up to face Sheffield Eagles at Olympic Legacy Park.
The two sides in desperate need of points and a positive result with both still harbouring ambitions of moving away from the bottom four. The teams are level on 8 points and back in May in the reverse fixture at Rosslyn Park it was the Eagles who edged it winning 22-20.

Mike Eccles has named his squad for this weekend’s Championship trip to Sheffield Eagles.
Tommy Porter, who returned to the club this week, is named in the squad and if selected in the matchday squad will make his first senior appearance after progressing through the academy and scholarship. Meanwhile, Chris Hellec returns to the 21.
Jack Smith from Leeds Rhinos and Louix Gorman from Hull KR are the dual-registration players available for selection this weekend.

Lewis Bienek will make his 100th London Broncos appearance in the game.
The 27-year-old product of the club’s academy made his debut in 2016 and becomes the 51st player to reach the milestone for the club.
ONE TO WATCH
There are number of players in the Sheffield squad that has previously played for London Broncos and we have picked one of those out as this week's one to watch.
Titus Gwaze has been with the Eagles for nearly three seasons now and has become a key player for Craig Lingard’s team and was recently named in Rugby League World’s Team of the Month.
The loose forward is in fine form so will no doubt be targeted this weekend.

The last meeting between the two sides was an incredibly tight affair with Sheffield Eagles taking the points at Rosslyn Park back in May.
The last game between the two sides in Sheffield was a spectacular play-off eliminator victory for the Broncos in 2023 however we have decided to take a look back at the 2013 game between the sides.
This was a Challenge Cup quarter-final at the Don Valley Stadium where the Broncos produced an outstanding performance to progress to the last four. You can watch the highlights from that game below.

POST-MATCH REACTION: Lewis Bienek reacts to Sheffield victory Lewis Bienek marked his 100th London Broncos appearance in spectacular fashion as he helped the team on its way to a big win against Sheffield Eagles. The 27-year-old prop scored the second try of the afternoon and was, as Mike Eccles described, "untackleable at times". Tommy Porter rejoins London Broncos London Broncos are pleased to announce hooker Tommy Porter has rejoined the club on a deal until the end of the season. The 21-year-old came through the Broncos scholarship and academy before moving to Manchester to begin his university degree. Whilst in Manchester, Porter played for Rochdale Hornets, Leigh Leopards and most recently Swinton Lions. Porter played 7 times scoring three tries in League One this season for Paul Wood’s team before leaving the club to move back to London.

Emilia’s Big Day: London Broncos partner with blood cancer charity to celebrate young rugby fan - London Broncos will host ‘Emilia’s Big Day’ to celebrate young cancer survivor whose life was saved by a stem cell donor. - Supporters can join the stem cell donor register with a simple mouth swab - This is part of a partnership with DKMS : inspired by lifelong rugby league fan whose baby son needed a stem cell transplant. Rugby league’s London Broncos have teamed up with blood cancer charity DKMS to organise ‘Emilia’s Big Day’, a family fun day and stem cell donor registration event, before their Championship game against Bradford Bulls on 6 September.
